Hello. We have been busy, busy, busy. I'm sure just like everyone else, I turn around and realize that it is Friday and a week has gone by already.

My son already has his wife picked out. Yes, it is true. He told me that Stephanie loves to kiss him and he likes it. Also, when I gel his hair in the morning, he tells me that its okay because Stephanie will think he is cute. In the car the other day, we were driving to someone's something and Evan tells me that he is going to marry Stephanie. I said "really...." . The girls started to crack up and asked him why. Very simply he said "because I love her". It was so sweet, the girls continued to give him a hard time. "What if you don't like her when your grown up?", "What if you don't love her anymore?" (very good questions). Yet, he stayed true to Stephanie telling the girls that he would like her and he would still love her. Such conviction of love for a 3 year old.

I wish I could be that convincing on any subject. He knew without a doubt that he would marry Stephanie, in that moment he knew it all. Sometimes when the kids ask me something and I give them an answer or have to Google it because I have NO idea ("mommy, do penguins molt?", how the f do I know???, but that is another story :)) and then they ask why? why? why? or "wouldn't it be better if?" and I have no response and can't grasp the simple conviction of my three year old.

Where am I going with this? I'm not sure, but maybe even if we pretended to have the conviction in some of our words and our actions, they would be true....

Okay, off my soap box now. Here's a good laugh, Joe went to Frye's yesterday (like a Mega Circuit City) he went for an adapter and came home 3 hours later. Not kidding. He then informed me that he got a "family" present there. The little hairs on my neck stood straight up at attention. A "family" present? Then he said, "mommy, may like it", okay, now the paralysis struck and my mind was racing, "what the hell did he get?". Okay, he goes in to the garage and this is what he brings in.......an electronic keyboard. Yes, you read correctly. Note: we HAVE a piano. This lovely gadget can sound like 50 different instruments, play the "Battle hymn of the Republic" and "hey jude". The kids love it, I am not so sure. They like to play it together....so I may like it. Do you believe it? I'm still confused how it happened, but I do know that I woke up to the "nutcracker" this morning at 8:00am....

see ya,
xoxo
