Freezing on the West Coast!!!!

Just so you know, the weather here has been FREEZING!!! I'm not kidding, at night it has dropped down to 28 degrees. We have actually put heat on!!! My parents were here for a week and had on long sleeves and pants the whole week, so much to coming to CA for a warm vacation. We went shopping in La Jolla, went to Point Loma, very pretty. Then we went to Hard Rock for Lunch. Another day we went to the local winery for lunch. It is honestly the best lunch I have ever had. (do you notice, i am all about food and shopping????)

Now, as it is that time of year, I am going to use my blog venue for American Idol venting. Last night was the Season Premiere. Just a couple of thoughts. I think Paula Abdul had some Botox done. Believe me, living here I am getting pretty good at identifying it!! Also, Simon was nicer than usual, but do you notice how he leers at the pretty girls. It is kind of disgusting. Randy is just being brutal for the heck of it. I tell you, those people last night were pathetic!!! I think the voice coach was my favorite. Anyway, enough idol bashing, but this is my new venue.

On the same TV note my new favorites are Ugly Betty and Brothers and Sisters. How Alec Baldwin won over Steve Carell and Zach Braff is beside me. I guess that is it for my infotainment.
