Holy Cow!!!

Wow! Has it been that long since my last post???? Wow!!! Let's see, the girls started school without a problem. They seem to like it. It has actually been HOT!! I mean HOT!! Not a sticky hot, but hot enough where I actually put the air conditioning on. Believe it or not, you don't have to do that too much here. Even though it is hot, if you find a square of shade, it is perfect. Really wierd!

We are still unpacking!!! Maybe my lack of blog entries is because I was accused of spending too much time typing, and not enough time unpacking....Maureen!!! So now, I am focusing on unpacking and I am getting yelled at because my blog is not updated.
We had a pretty mellow labor day weekend, unpacked, went out to dinner with the kids, who were actually well behaved and we had an enjoyable meal.

Met some neighbors this weekend. One came over with a bottle of wine (jeanine O. has issues with her because she told me I still have my Jersey accent!!!) and she has two little ones 3yr Boy and 5 month old boy. Then a little while later, another family came over, they have two older boys and a 5 year old that is in abby's kindergarten class (but only on Wednesday!!!). Everybody seems nice.

Why is she only in Abby's class on Wednesday you ask?? Because Abby has PM kindergarten, except for Wednesday when the whole school get's dismissed at 12:30pm. So PM kindergartners go in the AM on Wednesday and that is when the little girl is in her class. Oh yeah, here's another fun one: I bring both Abby and Leah to school at 7:40am on Wednesday, then I pick up Abby and 11:10am, yes only Abby, and then get to go pick up Leah at 12:30pm. What the hell is that???? One more thing and then I am done. This is a little odd, Leah's Gym teacher is her regular academic teacher, talk about Little House on the Prarie!! No wonder Leah has been calling me "Ma" and Joe "Pa". I think the Janitor is her art teacher. :)

I will try to be better to make things more relevant for those who I don't get to speak with.
xoxo sn

Wow, this blog thing is pretty cool. I have to admit I did call you a "fag" and I now have to apologize! Anyway, I miss you and my very convenient Novelli-rite. Oh well...glad to hear that the kids are adjusting. Seems like you have already replaced us neighbors...just kidding. Keep us posted. How is that state-of-the-art kitchen? Love ya! Eve

How is the whole 2/3 thing working with Leah? I hope well and maybe the educationally forward Californians will pass it to the measley NJites before too long. :) I am glad the neighbors are being nice. I had about 600 questions after the first day of first grade and I had no one to ask. I am confused about this simple supper, why does it sound so religious? I remember hearing you talk about it, I would guess it would be fun. So far Analee is loving school and Carlen has Mrs. Werger and she is loving it except she wonders when Evan is coming.:( I'm glad things are going well. Can you give me your email address? Miss you all!!
