Thankful for Modern Medicine

Since I was up a lot of the night with the little man, I am thankful for modern medicine.  Nothing is worse than seeing your child in pain.  He had such a bad throat and fever, and although I had given him a pain reliever, it hadn't kicked in yet, and he was miserable.  It is such a hopeless feeling when your child is hurting, and there is nothing you can do about it.  That being said, today I am thankful for modern medicine that will heal him.  We went to the dr. and sure enough it is strep, and we are now treating with antibiotics, and hopefully  no more pain.
